Whether you are an existing patient, a new patient, or someone looking for an answer to a dental question, we hope you find this site both helpful and interesting.  We are a third generation family dental practice.  Our Grandfather, “Tom” Tomhave, started this practice in Cloquet in 1926, and other than a brief interruption during which he served in World War II, this practice has been steadily growing and improving ever since.  Our dad, Jack, practiced dentistry from 1953 to 1995,  Jim began in 1985, and Steve in 1993.  We are proud of this legacy and the trust our patients place in us.  Our goal is to serve as your dentist for a lifetime, we have many patients in their 80’s and 90’s whose only dentist has been a Tomhave.  This gives us a unique perspective and passion for our patients and their dental health.  We provide excellent care while also understanding the emotional and financial burdens that can sometimes accompany dentistry.  Despite our long history we strive to have the most current and relevant knowledge, skills and technology available.
